I am passionate about helping others tell their story in English and Spanish. I have worked as a journalist and in education, and in both fields, I have been able to hone my skills as a writer, translator, editor and project manager. I am as happy writing a story for a newsletter as I am crafting speeches for the superintendent or board members because words matter and the right ones are powerful. I enjoy working with parents, exploring and creating ways in which they can be more involved in their children's education. I am passionate about crafting dynamic and innovative action plans and leading teams to a successful resolution of a project or initiative. And while I love leading and working in teams, I am a self-starter who is not afraid to tackle new challenges.
